Independent Clinical Educational Grants

Adroit Clinicals only considers providing educational funding to support educational programs that focus on rare diseases in therapeutic areas that are of interest to us. Adroit Clinicals accepts grant requests from educational providers that are accredited to provide continuing education (ie, CE, CME) by an accrediting body, such as the Accreditation Council for Continuing Clinical Education (ACCME), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), or other such accreditor.

Examples of educational providers considered include the following: professional Clinical societies and associations; Clinical education partner companies and providers; continuing education offices of academic Clinical centers, Clinical universities, hospitals, or community health centers; managed care organizations.

Examples of the types of events considered for funding include educational conferences, seminars, and presentations. Programs may be in-person or virtual.

Generally, when supporting an educational activity, the Adroit Clinicals Grants Committee will consider funding the following types of expenses:

  • Honoraria for Clinical or scientific faculty, preferably for CME/CE only
  • Speaker travel (coach), reasonable expenses for lodging and meals, preferably for CME/CE only
  • Room rental related to the educational portion of the program
  • Audio/visual equipment rental
  • Modest meal or refreshments for participants (buffet style for 50 or more participants only)
  • Meeting-related expenses (must be detailed in budget)
